Former Air Force Service pilot from Kalamazoo Dorothy Eppstein remembered for breaking barriers

In March the Congressional Gold Medal was given to a group of women who flew military aircraft during World War II. About 200 members of the Women's Air Force Service Pilots, or WASPs, were in Washington D.C. that day. Among them was Dorothy Eppstein of Kalamazoo. Eppstein passed away on Monday, she was 92. A documentary was produced about Eppstein's life in 2005.
