Kalamazoo Commission approves raises for some city staff


The Kalamazoo city commission has approved pay increases for some city staff.? The increases ranging from 2% to 3.5% were approved Monday night on a unanimous vote. City Clerk Scott Borling will make $63,000 a year, city assessor Constance Darling will make $82,000 city attorney Clyde Robinson will make $110,000 and internal auditor Ann Videtich will make $63,000.? The pay increases are effective Tuesday. Mayor Bobby Hopewell says a compensation package for the City Manager is still being reviewed.
