Kalamazoo Township trustees will discuss have their first discussion of finding a new supervisor during their regular meeting on Monday. Terri Mellinger passed away last week after a long illness. Mlive/Kalamazoo Gazette reports that the supervisor’s position is on Monday’s agenda. But the board isn’t likely to name a replacement right away. The township has 45 days to name a new supervisor. The position is up for election in November.
