Oshtemo Township residents are concerned about a proposal to run nearly seven miles of high powered power lines through the township. Mlive/Kalamazoo Gazette reports that about 45 people attended a public meeting held Wednesday by a subsidiary of ITC Holdings. The company plans to submit an application to the Michigan Public Service Commission. Holding open meetings is part of the requirement for submitting an application.
