Last week’s Supreme Court ruling that the federal Affordable Care Act is Constitutional now leaves Michigan officials with some decisions to make. The Lansing State Journal reports that Republican leaders in Michigan have not committed to adding about 500,000 uninsured residents to the Medicaid rolls. The law expands Medicaid eligibility, but last week’s court ruling allows states to opt out without a funding penalty. Some lawmakers say they are concerned about the potential costs of the expansion.
