Detroit News: Poll shows Romney closing gap in Michigan

A new poll shows Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney has narrowed the gap with President Obama in Michigan. The poll conducted by the Glengarriff Group for the Detroit News and WDIV Television in Detroit. It shows the President leading Romney by less than three points. The Real Clear Politics average of recent polls shows President Obama with a three point lead in Michigan. The New York Times FiveThirtyEight blog still gives the President a 98% chance of winning Michigan’s 16 electoral votes.
