Mlive Kalamazoo: City Commission approves deal to outsource economic development

The Kalamazoo City Commission has approved an agreement with Southwest Michigan First to outsource economic development. Mlive/Kalamazoo Gazette reports that the City Commission unanimously approved the agreement Monday night. The city will pay the economic development agency $225,000 over three years.
