The Marshall Public School district is considering a reorganization of its elementary school buildings. Currently the district’s three elementary schools serve kindergarten through fifth grade. The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the new plan would group the students by grade level. Pre-kindergarten through first grade would be in one building, there would also be a second and three grade building and a fourth and fifth grade building. Superintendent Randy Davis says it’s a preliminary proposal, and input from many people will be sought before any changes are finalized.
