Former Western Michigan University football coach Bill Cubit will become the new offensive coordinator for the University of Illinois. Mlive/Kalamazoo Gazette and ESPN both report that Cubit will join the Illini staff. He was fired November 17th after the Broncos completed the season with a 4-8 record. Western was 51-47 during Cubit’s tenure.
