Rep. Upton opposes carbon standards

West Michigan Congressman Fred Upton says the energy bill approved by the House will drive job overseas. The Saint Joseph Republican says the U.S. does need to reduce carbon emissions and invest in new forms of energy. But Upton says the emissions standards in the House bill aren't realistic. Supporters of the energy bill say it will reduce carbon emissions and create jobs in developing new sources of energy.
