Modest improvement in Southwest Michigan economy

The latest report on Southwest Michigan's economy shows some modest improvement. Long says his monthly survey of area businesses for the National Association of Purchasing Management shows that the economy is recovering, but it will be a slow recovery. Long says job growth is a lagging indicator in any economic recovery, and he says that will be the case again this time.
