The featured speaker for this year's Martin Luther King Junior Celebration at Western Michigan University runs a magazine that he says focuses on positive stories, rather than conflict. Lee Jones is the President of InSpire Magazine. Jones, who has also been a university professor and administrator, says InSpire Magazine was launched in part as a reaction to what he read in the media.

Lee Jones will be the featured speaker Saturday at Western Michigan University's MLK Celebration. Registration begins at 10:00 Saturday morning at the Bernhard Center. The celebration and open house runs until 2:30, and is part of a series of events during on campus and in the Kalamazoo area this winter to honor the life of the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Junior.
