SW Michigan economic recovery slows

The latest report from the National Association of Purchasing Management says southwest MichiganAC/AEURAtms economy has hit a "speed bump".

The head of Supply Chain Management Research at Grand Valley State University, Brian Long, says economic indicators for the region were slightly negative in February. Long says that breaks a string of eight consecutive positive reports.

Long says data collected during the last two weeks of February indicate that the economic recovery could be very slow.
