Lieutenant Governor in Kalamazoo to discuss restructuring state government

In her state of the State Address, Governor Granholm called for restructuring state government. She has appointed Lieutenant Governor John Cherry to lead a commission that will among other things reduce the number of state departments from 18 to 8. Cherry will be in Kalamazoo Thursday day to discuss this initiative at the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce.
