Texas Township’s board has delayed a decision on whether to mail residents a one-page press release about its newly created superintendent’s position. The Kalamazoo Gazette reports that people addressing the board during a meeting Tuesday night, as well as some trustees, questioned use of public money for that purpose. The board has previously decided to change the supervisor’s job to part-time and give many of the responsibilities to the newly created superintendent position.
