A new report on hospital safety gives Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo and Bronson Battle Creek an "A" for its score on safety. Mlive Kalamazoo Gazette reports that Borgess Medical Center responded to the "C" it received in the same report. Borgess said in a statement that it did not participate in the study. The statement to Mlive also questions the methodology used by the Leapfrog group. Borgess notes that reputable organizations like the Cleveland Clinic and Henry Ford Hospital also received a "C" in the study on safety.
