Herald-Palladium: Fruit crop could be worst since 1944

Warm temperatures in March followed by a hard frost in April have left West Michigan fruit farmers hurting. The Herald-Palladium reports that this year’s fruit crop could be the worst since 1944. It appears that only blueberries and strawberries did not suffer widespread losses.
