A new analysis finds that spending by lobbyists is on a record pace in Michigan. The Michigan Campaign Finance Network says records show that lobbyists have spent $20.7-million through the end of July. Those figures compiled from reports filed with the Michigan Secretary of State are up 4.5% from last year. 2011 was a record year for spending by lobbyists.
