Herald-Palladium: Improving economy may explain increase in child support payments

An improving economy may help explain an increase in court ordered child support payments in Berrien County. The Herald-Palladium reports that total collections are on track to increase just over 1% this year, after three years of decline. Berrien County Friend of the Court Director Tom Watson told County Commissioners on Thursday that the numbers reflect improvement in the area’s economy.
