Bills that would limit abortion options in Michigan are moving through the Legislature. The state Senate approved legislation Wednesday that would put more stringent licensing requirements on abortion clinics. The House Insurance Committee has approved a bill that would allow health care providers to refuse service based on moral or religious grounds. Officials with Right to Life of Michigan tell the Detroit Free Press that their top priorities have all been addressed by lawmakers.
