DeShazor discusses budget, Michigan's tax structure

State Representative Larry DeShazor says lawmakers will be able to reach consensus on a balanced budget before the new fiscal year begins October first. The Portage Republican says lawmakers also have to work on Michigan's tax structure. Several economists, including those at the House and Senate Fiscal Agencies, have said Michigan has a structural deficit that will continue even if the economy improves.
